STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Great IAM Church affirms our confidence in God's inerrant Word. We live and treasure its truths. We stand by the 66 books of the Bible. The Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and written centuries ago by chosen men of God. We believe the Bible is without error in its original manuscripts; it is completely reliable as final authority in all matters of doctrine and practice. We believe the Bible, the Word of God, is entered on the person and work of Jesus Christ.

The Great I AM Church believe in God the Father, The Lord Jesus Christ and
the Holy Spirit.
God the Father is acknowledged as the Creator-God as our heavenly Father.
infinitely perfect and intimately acquainted with all our ways. We believe God the Father is the first person of the Trinity; the Father is the source and ruler of all things, hence is fatherly in His relationship with his creation in general and believers in particular.
We believe there is one eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, holy, just, and loving unchangeable God. In the unity of the one God, there are three divine persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are equal in power but distinct in roles. Psalm 103:19, Matthew 28:19 and 1 Peter 1:2
We believe God showed His love and is a gift to all. For those who accept by faith, apart from works, become new creatures in Christ. By grace alone.
We believe humans are unable to save themselves, God because of His sovereign mercy acts to save those who come to Him by grace through faith. God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to suffer the penalty of death in place of
condemned humanity.
We believe that simply through believing the gospel, the good news that Christ died for all our sins and rose from the dead so that we can be saved.
We believe that only through our belief in Christ and the forgiveness of our sins
We can be declared righteous by God and reborn into a new life in Christ.
We believe that only through Christ are we guaranteed eternal life with God. John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:1-5; and Ephesians 1:4-12; 2:8-9
We believe we are the body of Christ and that we are the growing universal church consisting of true believers in heaven and on earth over whom Jesus Christ reigns as Lord. Regardless of denomination, all true believers are spiritually baptized by the Holy Spirit into Christ's body and therefore spiritually united with Him and with one another. Romans 12:4-5; 1 Peter 2:9-10.
We believe we are called as the family of God and called to be faithful membership as a visible local congregation for the purpose of spiritual growth and mutual encouragement.
We believe in loving well and living boldly for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
